Whenever I try to download an Arma 3 mod on the workshop, it will (usually) download right away and download the whole mod at once (again, usually). After a around a week or so, the mod will show up in the launcher. The launcher will then either crash repeatedly until I restart my computer, or the mod will load without issue. Make sure you save the download to a new folder somewhere. Don't just place this on your desktop or run it from your downloads folder, it should be run from a folder of it's own.
